Dear Parent(s),
As I'm making plans and starting the 2009-2010 school year, I'm making plans to start the best year yet.
Whether I taught you (what a joy it has been to know parents who were former students) or I'm teaching your child for
the second or the first year, I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know about the person I am today.
This
school year begins my thirty-fifth year at St. Edward School, and the life I've spent here has blessed me indeed. My life
has also been blessed outside of school. I am blessed with Ben, my husband, and one daughter, Teresa, the joy of our lives.
Teresa and her husband, Trent, have given us three grandsons: Maxwell, age nine; Elliot, age six; and Aidan, age two. We wonder
every single day how we are so lucky to be grandparents with the best grandchildren in the world.
This year it is my
hope and prayer that my students and I will identify our strengths and then...major in them...to accomplish all we are called
to do. If there is anything about your son or daughter that you would like me to know
to enable me to understand him/her or to guide his/her learning, I would invite your sharing. Stop by, call, or drop me a
note please.
A new school year has arrived, and I am ready. I know one thing for sure as we begin. If we work
together to succeed, honor our rights and responsibilities, and intend to do the jobs expected of us, it will be a fulfilling
year.
